Na Hula O Ka Moani Laua'e

Halau History: After approxiamately 18 years of hula training with the late, Kumu Hula Puluelo Naipo Park and her daughter, Pumehana Cullen, Kapualani received her blessing from both of her Kumu Hula to `uniki and then open her halau. The doors of Na Hula O Ka Moani Laua`e first opened on October 7, 1998 at the Waimanalo Hawaiian Homestead Community Center and then moved to Kealakekua, Hawai`i from 2006 to 2008. On June 17, 2008, the halau has since returned home to Waimanalo, our "one hanau", where we have been blessed and welcomed at our new hale, the Waimanalo Teen Project.
It is a pleasure to continue to serve and share with the families in the community and else where. Won't you come and be a part of our `ohana! | God is truly our Provider of all things in our lives! It is He whom we choose to give praise, honor, and glory to. The Creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea and all that is in them.
